Something so obvious (but crucial) that I missed: forget-or-abdicate notes it’s a “UK artist on US cover; US artist on UK cover. I love it, I love it, I love it.”

Karl Lagerfeld, in the new Metro newspaper he guest-edited, fires back at those who suggest he does too many collaborations (ahem Robin Givhan): “I couldn’t care less. It depends if I know the people. If unknown people say this, they should send me a note and explain why. The limit is up to me to decide.”

I think it’s great. They’re using a 2-cover approach — one, a more traditional cover awash with cover lines seen here and this sparse one shot by Terry. Editor-in-chief Glenda Bailey talks about the redesign in this WWD feature.
