Ever since I saw it in photos when I was training for my current job, I’ve always thought that the Gherkin, also called the Towering Innuendo lol, is actually Norman Foster’s version of a phallus. I love it and I hate it. I dreamt that one day a gigantic lady-zilla would just fellatio the hell out of the damn building and suck it out of London. It looks so out of place and yet very, very endearing.
Of course I wasn’t the only one with this thought. Et voila.
